Frequently Asked Questions

What is your turnaround time/how fast will my order ship?

Items in stock will ship within 2 to 3 business days, unless stated otherwise. Custom or made-to-order items will ship no more than 3 to 4 weeks from time of order unless otherwise specified.


If you need your item for a particular occasion or by a particular date, please contact me before placing the order to see if I can accommodate your request.


How do you ship your orders?

Orders are shipped via USPS first class mail. While orders typically reach their destination within 3 to 5 business days, please understand that we cannot control the post office and when the order is delivered. If you need to have your order by a particular date, please contact me before placing the order so I can upgrade your shipping to Priority or Express. There will be an extra charge.


I'm unsure about sizing. Help!

Children’s clothing ranges from 0 to 6 months to 4T. While I try to make each item as true to size as possible, each pattern runs a bit differently. If you are unsure about the size your child wears, I recommend ordering the item one size bigger. That way, they have plenty of room to grow into the outfit instead of receiving an item that might be too small.


How much is shipping and/or do you ship to address outside of the U.S.?

For shipments in the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska), I charge $7.50 for all orders up to $50. If you order more than $50 worth of product, shipping is free. Currently, I do not ship outside of the United States. 


What kind of fabrics do you use?

I use is 100% cotton, cotton/jersey blends, laces, linens, linen blends, and other soft, comfortable fabrics. All fabric is pre-washed to eliminate as much shrinkage from the garment as possible.


Can I wash my outfits?

Yes! I recommend for items that are 100% cotton to machine wash it in cool or cold water. Hand drying or tumbling on low hear is also recommended. Cotton/jersey blends can be washed and dried with like colors on low heat. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about washing your outfit.


Are your products handmade?

Everything made by Momma Brown’s Boutique is made with love here in Virginia.


What is your refund/return policy?

All sales are final. I do not offer any returns, exchanges, or refunds unless the item is defective or damaged, or the customer cancels the order within 24 hours of it being placed. Please place your order carefully as I cannot accommodate size changes, address changes or fabric changes. Keep in mind that fabric and trim colors may appear different on the computer than in person, and I cannot make purchase adjustments based on color variations.


Because each item is handmade, please carefully inspect the garment upon receipt. Remember, there could be minor imperfections that may not be found in large-scale manufacturing. While I try to thoroughly inspect every garment before it leaves my hands, something may get missed. If you feel you have received a defective or damaged garment, please contact me within three days of receipt at babyrn624@gmail.com with all the information on the product. I will be more than happy to speak with you about what can be done with the item, whether it can be repaired, or replaced with an alternative garment. 


Absolutely no exchanges can be made on items that have been washed or worn.

I placed an order but I have not received a confirmation email.
Please check your SPAM folder to see if your email is there. If you are using Gmail, also check your social and promotion folders. If you still cannot find a confirmation email, email me at babyrn624@gmail.com with your name so I can see if the order processed.


What if the item I’m interested in is no longer on your website? Will it be restocked?

Many of the items on Momma Brown’s Boutique are one of kind, so it will not be restocked. However, you can reach out to me at babyrn624@gmail.com to see if I have the ability to recreate the item (ex. Using a specific fabric for a purse).


What payment methods do you accept?

I accept credit card, debit card, PayPal, check and cash.
